Lilies Care

Our Lilies are Longiflorum varieties with between 3 and 6 trumpet shaped flowers on each stem. Because the flower trumpets open at different times with the proper care, your Lilies will live for 1 to 2 weeks.

1. Remove the leaves below the water line.
2. While holding the stem under water, cut 2 to 3 cm off the stems. Do not let the freshly cut stem dry out.
3. Fill a vase with water and add the flower condition, which came with your bouquet.
4. If possible leave your flowers in a cool dark room to condition for a few hours after arranging.
5. Temperature is an important factor in the vase life of these flowers. So display your fresh cut Lilies in a cool area, out of direct sunlight and away from drafts and heat.
6. Lilies drink a lot of water, so it is important to check the vase is full daily.
7. o keep pollen from staining clothes, cut the stamen out when the Lily opens (use tape to remove any pollen that gets on clothes). This will also help to enhance the life of your lilies.
